The Ardilaun Hotel celebrates its 50th birthday

The Ardilaun Hotel celebrates its 50th birthday this year and is marking the occasion with numerous events and activities for everyone to share and enjoy.

The hotel, which opened their doors for the first time in March 1962, boasts a slyvan setting close to the city centre and enjoys year round business from weddings to corporate events and leisure business.

Throughout the year there will be a different promotion every month, with one lucky person in with a chance of winning the ultimate prize to the value of €5,000.

To recognise and reward its many loyal guests and hotel visitors, the Ardilaun Hotel has organised that for each month throughout the Golden Year, a Golden Ticket will be placed somewhere in the hotel, with every visitor in with a chance of finding it.

The golden prize, which includes €1,000 cash, lunch for 20 people, dinner for 20 people, 10 double rooms, family membership for the gym for one year, and treatments in the Avalon salon worth €500, will be presented to one lucky winner in December at the hotel.

John Ryan, Managing Director, of the Ardilaun Hotel handed out 50 golden envelopes the day he launched the initiative and David Hynes, Cortoon, Tuam, Co. Galway was the lucky recipient and will now go into the draw in December for the €5,000 prize.
